What to expect
You can visit without a dog. Explore exhibitions about dogs, wooded paths and cafés; we suggest a relaxed half-day outing. Paths with slopes and stairs are difficult for strollers and wheelchairs. The ticket does not include a dog-petting or hands-on animal experience.

The park is in Namsan-myeon, outside central Chuncheon. The official driving guide places it about 5 minutes from Gangchon IC on the Seoul–Yangyang Expressway. Arrange a return car journey from Seoul, or check public transport and the final taxi leg together. The free shuttle runs inside the park; it is not a Seoul or railway-station pickup.

Human and dog admission are separate; buy dog tickets on site. Check dog registration and vaccination rules, and ask in advance about overseas documents. Outside food is not allowed. Bring walking shoes, water and weather-appropriate clothing; check notices in bad weather. The Nature Pool swimming season has ended for 2026.

Are d.forest and Gangajisup the same place?
Yes. Gangajisup (강아지숲), also called d.forest, is the dog-themed park in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. Use the Korean address in the visitor guide when asking a taxi driver or checking a map.
What should I check when visiting with a dog?
Check the dog’s age, vaccination and breed restrictions, ticket options and leash rules. Some exercise areas have day-specific weight categories; read the current area schedule before your visit.

Hours & closures
- Wednesday–Sunday 10:00–18:00; ticket sales close at 17:00. Closed Mondays/Tuesdays except public holidays, and on Lunar New Year/Chuseok day. Closed 25 September 2026; open on substitute holiday 5 October.
- September promotion sales: 31 August–30 September 2026; visits: 1–30 September. Tickets cannot be used after validity and discounts cannot be combined.
Tickets, ages & inclusions
- Adult: 19+; youth: 13–18; child: 37 months–12 years. Infants up to 36 months enter free after age-document verification (e.g. family/resident record). Dog tickets and other discounted tickets are purchased on site.
- Regular adult/youth/child prices are ₩17,000/₩15,000/₩12,000. September promotion sales: 31 August–30 September; visits: 1–30 September.
Packages & on-site discounts
- Two-person drinks package: ₩37,500 (regular ₩50,000). Two human admissions, 3 drinks (2 human + 1 dog), and 10% off Nature Pool dining. Dog admission is extra.
- Four-person drinks package: ₩72,750 (regular ₩97,000). Four human admissions, 6 drinks (4 human + 2 dog), and 10% off Nature Pool dining. Dog admission is extra. International package sales are being prepared.
- On-site offers with supporting documents: age 65+, Korean veterans and listed disability grades 1–3: ₩8,500; Chuncheon residents: 50% off. Confirm eligibility and conditions with the facility.
How to enter
- At the ticket counter, verify the booking details and exchange them for admission tickets. Additional facilities/services may require on-site payment. Operations or safety staff may restrict use.
Experiences & amenities
- Museum: floor 1 dog waiting room, market, lockers, first-aid room, nursing room and dog first-aid room; floor 2 Café Spring and exhibition 1; floor 3 exhibitions 2–3. Exhibitions explore dogs and life with them.
- The hill has lawns, photo spots, terraces, dog water stations and information/activity/vending/snack booths. Walks: pond–hill; Winter Café–playground; lookout–Winter Café–playground. Spring, Summer and Winter cafés, market, snacks and activities are also listed.
Before your visit
- Dogs must be at least 3 months old with the fifth vaccination complete. Other animals are not admitted; watch for wildlife. Day-of-visit weighing separates dogs under 10kg from those 10kg+. The two weight groups cannot share an off-leash area.
- Keep dogs leashed outside designated off-leash areas. The museum requires both leash and belly band. One belly band per dog is free at the counter; extras cost ₩1,000 at the market.
- Owners are responsible for incidents caused by their dogs. Bring waste bags and clean up. Regular pest control cannot eliminate ticks; take preventive measures such as tick treatment.
- No outside food, cooking or smoking. Alcohol is prohibited except at Nature Pool; intoxicated visitors cannot enter. No scooters, bicycles, badminton gear, drones, shade tents, tents or similar equipment.
- Do not touch or damage exhibits. Preschool children must be accompanied and hold their guardian’s hand. Unauthorized transfer/resale is prohibited; the facility/seller disclaim responsibility for resulting disputes.
- Facility restrictions include Tosa, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Rottweiler and their mixes. Dogo Argentino, Cane Corso, Ovcharka, Tibetan Mastiff, wolfdogs and other intimidating/aggressive dogs or dogs posing a risk are also restricted.
- Off-leash zones rotate by date and weight and may change. The Nature Pool playground operates during its season. During the 12–13 September DSD event the hill required leashes: on the 12th large dogs used Nature Pool and small dogs the playgrounds; the 13th reversed them.
Annual membership
- Additional Naver product: weekday ₩120,000 (1 person/1 dog), all-days ₩150,000 (1/1), double all-days ₩200,000 (2/1), double membership ₩240,000 (2/2). This facility membership is not yet sold on this site.
- Weekday members enter free on weekdays and receive 20% off on weekends/holidays; all-days members enter free on open days. All plans give up to 2 companions 20% off (their dogs pay regular rates). All-days/double plans include one 10%-off mid-season Nature Pool visit for members only; double plans include one walking kit while supplies last. All plans: 20% off prepared café drinks and market PB goods, 10% off Nature Food Terrace; offers cannot be combined.
- Members must be adults 19+; dogs must be 3+ months old, have completed the fifth vaccination and be registered. Restricted breeds are ineligible. Supply the application, vaccination record, dog-registration copy or internal/external microchip verification, and a 3×4cm JPG/GIF photo of person and dog together; a 2-person/1-dog plan needs separate photos of each person with the dog. Online microchip applicants verify at first visit. Do not submit ID-card or driving-licence photos.
- Apply on-site or online. Card production takes about 7 days after payment and all documents/photos are complete; collect at the counter after the completion text. Online purchasers submit the form linked in the original guide. Valid for one year from your chosen start date, whether used or not; choose a first visit at least 7 days after completion. No personal pauses or restarting the validity period.
- Only registered people/dogs may use the pass; show the card at the counter and exchange for tickets. Pay with a single card. Transfer/resale can void membership and benefits. Lost-card replacement costs ₩5,000, collected on-site within 7 days of application.
- Customer-requested refund, measured from payment: within 14 days 100%, 1 month 80%, 3 months 60%, 6 months 40%; none after 6 months. Deduct regular admission charges for visits already used; no refund if deductions exhaust the amount. Once the card is produced, a further ₩10,000 production/issue fee is deducted.
- If facility policy, natural disasters or other facility-side events change benefits, prices or available days (including 90+ closed days per year), members are notified first and may seek refund/re-enrolment. Published rates from payment: within 1 month 100%, 3 months 80%, 6 months 60%, after 6 months 50%.
- Membership may be revoked for damage, violence, injury, threats, sexual harassment/assault, intentional rule breaches or ignoring safety instructions, or three removals for failing to control an aggressive dog. Same-day intervention: leash/calm the dog, move to another area, then leave. Animals other than dogs are not admitted; watch for wildlife.
- Membership follows the facility’s separate application/privacy consent. Its original lists name, birth date, email, address, mobile, photo and dog-registration copy for service/payment/member management; consent-based marketing for 2 years, certain records for 2 years and logs for 2 months. These are statements in the facility source, not this site’s privacy policy. Check the facility’s current consent form and retention periods before joining.
Cancellation & refunds
- Unused tickets within validity are fully refundable. No partial refunds; cancel the whole booking and repurchase to change group size. Contact support for a missing/deleted ticket message.

Weight is measured on your visit day. Schedules may change; check facility notices before visiting.
